License

Every template is offered in two editions with different licenses.

Free edition (GPL)

The free static build and free Astro source are licensed under the GNU General Public License (GPL). You may use, modify, and redistribute them, including for commercial projects, provided derivative works remain under the GPL and retain the license notice.

Pro edition (Commercial)

When you purchase a Pro template, a Pro bundle, or hold an active all-access subscription, you receive a commercial license with the following terms:

• No attribution required. You may remove all credit links.
• Unlimited personal and client projects. Use the template on as many websites as you build.
• Includes licensed photography bundled with the Pro edition for use within that template.
• You may not resell, redistribute, or sublicense the template itself (as a template, theme, or starter), or include it in a competing template marketplace.

Purchases and bundles grant a permanent license — you keep access and re-download rights even if a subscription later lapses. Subscription all-access applies to all Pro templates while the subscription is active.
